In my research I study the computational modelling of composition and music theories. I am developed models for various musical “dimensions” such a rhythm, harmony, melody, counterpoint, and musical form. Many of these models can be combined with each other. I often use methods of symbolic artificial intelligence, in particular constraint programming.
